Initial & Lasting Impressions
Upon opening the 10-in-1 Renewal System Masque, you will first notice its ambrosial scent, and it left my hair smelling like fruit. The consistency of the product is rather heavy/thick, so I didn’t have to use as much of the conditioner in order to coat my strands. Like most deep conditioning treatments, moderate heat helps the product to deeper penetrate and hydrate your strands. I tried this masque without heat and with heat, and you can definitely notice the difference when you sit under a dryer.
After rinsing with cool water, my hair felt silky soft and hydrated, and my curl pattern sprung back. I was able to make these results last me the whole week using the LCO method. After using this product weekly for about a month, I could notice my hair gradually strengthening and becoming more susceptible to retaining moisture. My hair is high porosity, so this masque was a great help.

Its delightful smell is a big bonus, and like other Shea Moisture products, it contains all organic and natural ingredients, another plus. If you have hair damage or have high porosity hair, I would give this masque a try.
