Product Overview

The Alikay Naturals Caribbean Coconut Milk Shampoo and Conditioner feature all natural and organic ingredients. These ingredients are formulated to cleanse your hair without stripping it of its natural oils and moisture. The coconut milk is additionally supposed to lessen hair loss and preserve softness.  To add, when the shampoo and conditioner are used in conjunction with each other it balances the pH of your hair.

Initial & Lasting Impressions

What is different about this shampoo is that it comes with an applicator tip. This made it easy to apply directly to my scalp, making for a better cleanse.  The conditioner on the other hand, was actually pretty difficult to get out of the bottle which caused me to have to remove the cap. However, I was thoroughly impressed with the coconut milk shampoo. It was by far the softest my hair has felt after using a shampoo.

There was no loss of moisture or “stripped” feeling that many shampoos cause. The consistency of the shampoo is very slippery, but it was still able to form a nice lather and get the job done. Following up with the conditioner that is of a thicker cream consistency – it didn’t do anything out of the ordinary for me, and still provided an adequate amount of moisture. But knowing that the use of these two products together balances the pH of your hair set a good foundation for the rest of my hair regimen.

Conclusion

The Alikay Naturals Caribbean Coconut Milk Shampoo & Conditioner provided an ample amount of moisture that infused my hair with a luscious scent and shine. The shampoo left my hair feeling super soft, which is usually hard to come across with some shampoos. The conditioner didn’t do anything out of the ordinary and still got the job done. But this duo is a definite must try – for the fact that when used together, the pH of your hair is balanced which makes for a good foundation for the rest of your hair routine.
